Adamson (Phil.) Inc. was established in 1968 by a Greek National Alexandros A. Adamopoulos, (co-founder of Adamson University and Consul General of Greece), with the objective of supplying qualified, properly documented and carefully selected Filipino Seafarers including full compliment of crew from Masters to Messboys for all types of vessels in accordance with the requirements of Principals worldwide. In addition to the supply of crew Adamson (Phil.) Inc. also acts as Owners Protective Agents for vessels calling all Philippine Ports and is the Philippines General Sales Agent for Olympic Airways.
Being one of the first manning agencies to be licensed by the National Seaman Board (now known as Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, POEA) in 1974, Adamson (Phil.) Inc. has been faithfully serving the needs of Shipowners for over 30 years.
Our primary concern is geared towards the specific and individual needs and requirements of our principals. We continuously strive to propose and hire only the best qualified and experienced officers and ratings for all our principals.
Adamson (Phil.) Inc. has always had and continues to have excellent working relations with all Philippine government offices throughout the country. Our office managers and staff are fully experienced and up to date on the requirements demanded by their respective positions. We are certified to the ISO 9001:2000 Standard and have accomplished our certification in record time by BVQI Quality Assurance program. We continuously upgrade our system and training methods in order to keep up with the changing demands of our Principals and the ISO standard.
Adamson (Phil.) Inc. realizes the importance of the crews needs and requirements and therefore special attention is given to the crew and their families in order to ensure that they perform to the best of their abilities while onboard their respective vessels. A very strict policy which Adamson (Phil.) Inc. prides itself on is that we do not charge any amount to our seamen and they and their families are never required to sign for any cash advances before their departure or at any time during their association with us.
All crew allotments are paid ON TIME without delay as soon as the funds are received by our bank thru a nation wide network of automatic teller machines and their families receive the allotments with in maximum of two to five working days. Adamson (Phil.) Inc. conducts its own in house training seminars such as the Pre Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) in which the seamen are made aware of their duties, the provisions of their contracts and special requirements of each individual Principal.
